Read MoreI started 2020 sick with Covid-19. I woke up on New Year’s Day feeling like I had a hangover. Around 4pm I began to second guess this. The “hangover” lasted 10 days. There were days I could only get out of bed to slowly shamble to the bathroom. I lost 11 pounds in 10 days.
Today is International Men’s Day but you wouldn’t know it by checking the mainstream male websites. GQ is bashing America and selling fashionable facemasks. Esquire is silent on IMD too. Though I’ll give them credit, they have a pretty good piece about the James Bond film, Goldeneye. AskMen is trying to sell you more junk you don’t need.

Is there anything wrong with spending your time watching sportsball? Walk into a bar on any given Sunday and you’ll hear grown men shouting obscenities at professional athletes on big screen television. These manchildren, donning jerseys over their beer bellies will be ordering fried chicken wings while claiming that these athletes are lazy for not hustling more or are weak for not playing with a broken finger.
