It's Time To Call Out Clown Culture
Men need to stand up and call out clown culture when they see it. Social media and woke ideology is permeating throughout all of modern society. If nothing is done, these toxic ideas will brainwash the next generation. I try to avoid these topics because I see it as a distraction. But I live in Tennessee. And watching the media ignore the victims of the Covenant School shxxting in Nashville and rush to defend the shooter and the trans community was too much.
I'm not here to attack or demonize any groups of people. But there are too many unstable people being told that it's OK to mutilate their bodies and dress in drag in front of young children. This is not the behavior of a healthy society. We need to reclaim our shame. Some things do not need to be normalized.
For years, commercials and movies have shown beer drinking to be masculine. Well, mostly (NSFW). Older readers will remember the tongue in cheek Budweiser advertisement series “Real Men of Genious.” Previously named “Real American Heroes.” ‘Heroes’ was swapped for ‘Genius’ after 9/11.
For a time, beer companies at least pretended like they didn’t despise their customer base.
Did you know that excessive beer drinking lowers your testosterone? If you want to be masculine, you need to cut down on the beer drinking.
And to help bring awareness to this issue, Budweiser has put Dylan Mulvaney's face on the cans to help raise awareness of the estrogenic properties of consuming too much beer.
Studies on rats show that phytoestrogens in beer exert estrogen-like effects in the body.
Outspoken LGBTQ spokesperson, (lets keep it simple and say person) Dylan Mulvaney, is the face of Budweiser now. And if you want a complete breakdown as to why Budweiser is coming out, you can read this well written thread here.
You might think, "OK Bud is not a big loss. No bid deal. I'll switch to whiskey!" Well, Jack Daniels has also gone woke. You'd think a Tennessee based distillery would be safe from this noise, but you'd be wrong. Welcome to the face of Corporate Equality.
But Mr. PathToManliness, why do you care about some watered down beer? I'll tell you why.
It's because it represents a shift in cultural norms and grooms young boys and men to behave this way. I'm all for letting people do as they wish, but this is an assault on traditional values. Masculinity really is under attack.
There is nothing wrong with people who are gay or whatever they want to call themselves. The problem is when they begin to force their ideas onto people who are minding their own business. And their obsession with children is cause for serious alarm.
For years normal men have been keeping their head down and avoiding the hot button issues. I get it. You don't want to get canceled. People are losing their jobs, access to banks and being kicked off social media. And yes, I say ‘normal men.’ We don’t refer to ourselves as cisgender. To refer to normal men as cisgender is to misgender us. So say ‘normal’ or you’re a bigot.
It gets worse
Imagine you have a 5.1 GPA, an ACT score of 35/36 and you're the Vice President of your class. Life is good right? Now imagine applying to every Ivy League school and being told "No" by every single Ivy League school.
Welcome to the life of a white man in America. So much for white privilege.
Now my father taught me to only bring up problems if I'm also bringing up solutions.
So what can we do, as men?
First and foremost, you need to be a lighthouse to young men. Now more than ever, young boys and even young men are confused. They feel demonized, alienated... abandoned.
Today there are few places where men feel comfortable being men and are able to speak their minds. Social media will cast you out if you don’t tow the party line. Elon Musk buying Twitter has been a godsend for those who saw the hypocritical nature of the moderation team. People were banned and suspended for innocent tweets. The type of stuff that was normal to say only a few years ago. And say what you want about it only being social media, but the truth is that the majority of discourse occurs online today.
Too many men want to be a lone wolf. The human species is not designed to be alone. Every man needs brotherhood.
If you really want to make a difference, then you need to be a leader in your community. Or at the very least, be a good example to young people around you. You can do this by volunteering to go on a field trip at school. You can coach little league. Get involved in your community and lead by example. Reach out to your friends and like-minded individuals.
Common sense has been sidelined for too long. This is a huge reason for why I write online under the PathToManliness name. It's time real men make a stand. Put your foot down and be heard. Make fun of these ridiculous advertising campaigns. Speak with your wallet. Switch from Budweiser to a better tasting beer. Basically anything else. Swap out Jack Daniels for a better bourbon like Basil Hayden or Weller.
I see too many soft spoken men who tolerate too much nonsense. We've grown so afraid of hurting people's feelings that we've stopped offering critical feedback. When bad ideas are brought up, they need to be called out. When people are acting like clowns, you don't support them. You offer guidance. Snowflake culture has removed the idea filter. Y’ass queen ideology has allowed anyone and everyone to do anything and everything. This is leading to a decadent and perverted world. It's time to return to traditional values. And that requires men to stand up and call out clowns when they see they/them.

Why We Run
We don't run to lose weight. We don’t run just to work out. Sure, those are benefits, but they’re not the reasons we lace up our shoes and hit the pavement or the trail day after day. Running transcends fitness goals and calorie counts. It’s not about shaving seconds off your mile time or staying in shape—though we all want those things, too. Running is about something deeper, something that goes beyond the physical.
