The Joe Rogan Experience is Not a Right Wing Podcast
The comments attacking Joe Rogan for merely having “controversial guests” are everything that’s wrong with the current cultural divide. Too many people are religiously married to extremist ideas. It clouds their judgment. Now they attack you for being adjacent to controversy. Joe Rogan has talked to people on every side of the political spectrum, but Bernie fans attack him for allowing Milo Yianopoulis to appear on his show.
This is how they stifle public discourse. There is a cultural war being waged on many fronts and with many tactics. If you are guilty of wrongthink, they’ll cancel you, your bank account and your job. These people want you socially erased. They mean to shred the US Constitution and all it’s rights. Not only are you not allowed to speak up or lean the “wrong” way politically, but now you aren’t allowed to even speak to these people.
Not only must you think the way they demand. You must be able to see into the future. They will cancel you for words you used that were acceptable in the past. They judge 2009 tweets off 2020 standards. And if you lean a certain way politically, they’ll find any excuse. Kevin Hart was pulled from the Oscars for using the word “fa***t” as a pejorative from. Some of these tweets dated as far back as 2009! If you remember, it was a time when saying the word was not nearly as big of a deal as it has become today.
The cultural divide is an unhealthy result of a divided nation. Social media exacerbated this by allowing people to retreat into their echo chambers, their reality tunnels to hide from scary thoughts. It is healthy to engage in a battle of ideas. Universities forgot this truth. If you are a proponent of traditional gender norms or social values, college is fraught with landmines that can cost you friends, access to social platforms and even job opportunities.
One of the greatest examples of this extreme censorship is Megan Murphy. Twitter banned her FOR LIFE for the now controversial claim of judging someone’s gender based off their anatomical body parts. The rules of this game are being made up on the fly and there will be more social casualties as the world grows more bizarre progressive.
Joe Rogan is everything they fear: Masculine Confident Independent Rational The Joe Rogan Experience gives a voice to many the established media means to silence and ignore. Not only that, it inspires many others to speak up and share their own opinions This is “dangerous” in the eyes of many.
Yet, despite all this dangerous talk, Joe Rogan is one of the most rational and balanced voices online today. He’s way more fair and balanced than any of the Main Stream Media voices. He has had voices from the left like Tulsi Gabbard, Bernie Sanders and well pretty much every single comedian. He had voice on the right like Jordan Peterson, Scott Adams and Ben Shapiro. Joe is a constant proponent for unifying people and his political views stretch from one political spectrum to the other.
The Joe Rogan Experience has been my gateway into meeting some of the most interesting minds. I learned an unbiased approach to nutrition from “low key babe” Dr. Rhonda Patrick. I discovered Graham Hancock who claims a giant comet nearly wiped out all life on Earth 12,500 years ago. I was introduced to the Intellectual Dark Web of Jordan Peterson and Sam Harris. But mostly, I found a lot of fun and entertaining podcasts like Jake The Snake, Dr. Phil, Tim Dillon and Sober October.
The world doesn’t need to be so fixated on politics. There is no reason to stop talking to someone simply because you disagree with their politics. There’s nothing wrong with spending time around people who share different beliefs. the battle of ideas is a healthy way to move forward in society. This is true progressivism. And nothing good comes when people of opposing ideologies shut down all means of communication. Jack Murphy and I discuss this on an episode of the Path to Manliness podcast.
At the end of the day, people need to stop bringing politics into every single discussion. Joe Rogan is a comedian, a UFC commentator and a podcast host. Let him be his own person. 99% of people can’t be lumped in to simple groups like right wing or left wing. It’s ridiculous to say the Joe Rogan Experience is a “Right Wing Podcast.” It’s a podcast about comedians, unique ideas, the UFC and most importantly chimps and DMT.

Why We Run
We don't run to lose weight. We don’t run just to work out. Sure, those are benefits, but they’re not the reasons we lace up our shoes and hit the pavement or the trail day after day. Running transcends fitness goals and calorie counts. It’s not about shaving seconds off your mile time or staying in shape—though we all want those things, too. Running is about something deeper, something that goes beyond the physical.
